APLD CT is considering hosting a booth at the CT Flower Show held at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford. The CT Flower Show will be held from February 24 – 27, 2011.
The goal of the booth will be to raise awareness of the benefits of professional landscape design in Connecticut. The focus of the APLDCT booth will be a portfolio of project pictures and landscape design plans from our members. We also will have APLDCT promotional material, including current member names and contact information.
To be included in this chapter portfolio, members must staff the booth for one of the time slots on the four days. As a benefit of your time, not only will your work be included in the portfolio for the duration of the show, but you also can have your business cards on display during your time slot.
Your APLDCT Board of Directors needs to hear from you to ensure there is enough member interest and support to make this APLD CT-sponsored event viable.
Please send an email to our chapter secretary, Whitney Freeman-Kemp at firstname.lastname@example.org to express your interest in helping to staff an APLDCT booth at the 2011 CT Flower Show by October 18 so we may reserve our booth. If there is NOT enough member interest, APLD CT will not sponsor a booth at the 2011 CT Flower Show.
